• The Cast Showoff: Podrick singing "Jenny of Oldstones" was added according to the behind the scenes commentary specifically to show off Daniel Portman's singing voice.
• Content Leak: This episode leaked online several hours before the US premiere after the German branch of Amazon accidentally uploaded it early. While the error was corrected, and the episode removed, it was available long enough for many to watch and spread spoilers.
• No Stunt Double: Maisie Williams herself performed the now-infamous sex scene. To make it more comfortable for her, the producers let Williams lay out the blocking of the scene, including exactly how much nudity she wanted to show.
