• Dueling Movies: Epically lost to Disney. According to some sources, the Disney film prevented "Erase Una Vez" from going as "La Cenicienta."
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The film won a Venetian film festival and was deemed worthy of national interest, but the movie was lost for a long time as in the time of Francoist Spain, copies of films were often destroyed after the movies ended their distribution at the cinemas, only surviving a few reels that were distributed at schools but in black and white. It wasn't until the end of 2022 that the movie was restored to color using the official album with the movie screenshots as reference and was uploaded to the net by TVE but only for a limited amount of time.
• Merchandise-Driven: A large sticker book using cells from the film was released at the time of the film's premiere. For many years, it was one of the few things that prove this film still exists.
• The Mockbuster: Averted; it was just coincidence that the film was released around the same time Disney released their version. Although, it can be argued to be inspired by Disney's Snow White.
