Trivia / DEATH BATTLE! S02E28 - Hercule Satan VS Dan Hibiki

• Prior Death Battle combatants Goku, Vegeta, Majin Buu, Ryu, and Blanka are all seen in the fighters' analysis segments. Goku makes a cameo in the duel itself as Hercule misidentifies Dan's Gadoken as a Kamehameha, since both moves are ki and follow similar properties like requiring time to charge and handsigns. However while both ki blasts, Hercule had nothing to fear this virtually harmless Gadoken, which died out before even touching him.
• This is the first 1 Minute Melee match to be re-done on Death Battle and the second duel to be on both shows (after Deadpool vs Deathstroke). Incidentally, Hercule wins both times.
• Dan and Mikey are the two most denounced combatants on the show, though the hosts also made fun of Hercule as well. All three of them classify under the Joke Character trope to some degree, with Dan being the most obvious. (At least they're not Yamcha).
• This is the first time a Dragon Ball character wins a Death Battle after four years with Vegeta winning against Shadow.
• The Legendary Taunt is one of the few tools, weapons or traits in Death Battle that is completely pointless and worthless.
