  • Gabriel Picolo is a huge fan of Teen Titans, and in fact, it was his fanart, inspired by 2003 cartoon that got him noticed by DC and landed him the job on DC Ink's Teen Titans series.
  • Yoshi Yoshitani, the illustrator for I Am Not Starfire, also grew up with the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon and calls working on the comic a dream come true.
