• Pop-Culture Urban Legends:
  • Due to Chuck Huber's affidavit in the Vic Mignogna lawsuit against FUNimation, Jamie Marchi, Monica Rial, and Ron Toye accusing Sabat of a casting couch-type situation where female actresses have apparently paid Sabat in sexual favors from rumors that he'd heard, there is a subset of Vic supporters who legitimately think that it's true despite there being no proof, no substantiations of the claims or apparent rumors, and Sabat has vehemently denied it ever happening.
  • Similar to the above, some people also think that Stephanie Nadolny, former voice of kid Gohan and Goku, was fired after she refused to give Sabat sexual favors. However, this has never been stated by Nadolny and her story from a 2019 interview from before the casting couch claims came out basically states that even she doesn't know why she was let go and Gohan and Goku were recast and that she apparently doesn't get many roles nowadays because she had an abusive ex-boyfriend who promised to ruin her career after she broke up with him.
