• Late Export for You: Unusually for a Bleach novel, Viz decided to license the novels and release them in the West, with the first arriving in July 2020.
• Schedule Slip:
  • The first volume (released in August 2017) stated that Part II would be out later in the year, but a hiatus delayed the novel's release to November 2018.
  • The third volume was originally slated for English release on March 2, 2021, but was delayed to April 20 of the same year for unknown reasons.
• Series Hiatus: Two weeks before the book actually came out, it was announced that the series would be going on hiatus before resuming in fall. It was announced in November 2017 that the series will resume serialization in December, with the second novel being confirmed for release in November 2018.
