• Fake German: Emmy is from Hamburg, but since foreign seiyus are practically non-existent, they had to go by having her talk flawless Japanese with a few Deutsch 101 words thrown in every once in a while. This is handwaved by saying that her japanese grandmother taught her the language, but it's doubtful she would have been accepted in the regular japanese school system even if she did have such a good mastery of the language. (Japan's extremely restrictive immigration policies means pretty much all children who aren't born japanese have to attend international schools).
