• He Also Did: Did you know the author of this fic also wrote The Black Flower? They went from a fic where the characters' villainy is maximized to a Deconstruction Fic. Surprising isn't it?
• What Could Have Been: Sometimes the author wrote some fun facts in the notes where they exaplain how certain parts of the fic were changed.
  • Max's alias was initially Boris Connor instead of Boris Andrews, but the author botched it after they came to know a person of the same name has been arrested for murder in recent times.
  • Mylène was supposed to have a chapter but the author find it too similar to another later chapter so they decided to discard it.
  • Nathaniel's chapter was supposed to be vastly different. According to the author, Nathaniel should have been harassed as much as his classmates. One person in particular would tell him to 'go take a shower', probably to reference what the Nazi did to Jewish people during World War II^note Nathaniel is confirmed to be Jewish in canon. This would make the people realize how low and horrible they were getting and they would apologize to Nathaniel. But the author botched it as they didn't believe people could be that harsh.

  • The author explicitly stated that Season 5 isn't canon to the fic as they had no idea how to write certain characters otherwise.
