• Fake American: The Italian-American Eddie Carbone is played in the 1962 film version by the Italian (as in, from Italy) Raf Vallone.
• Fake Nationality: In that same film, Italian Rodolfo and Marco are played by French actors Jean Sorel and Raymond Pellegrin, respectively.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Due to rights issues, the 1962 film has a spotty home video release (at best). The only DVD being a long out-of-print, VHS-quality rip that has fallen out of circulation.
