    The webtoon
  • Jiwon is the ultimate Broken Bird in the first timeline. Her best friend is a two-faced jealous brat who sabotages her relationships both in school and at work so Jiwon has no one but her; her husband is an abusive prick whose family treats her like a slave; and she ends up getting cancer, stuck in a hospital room with no visitors. She finally goes to see her husband, only to catch him and her best friend in bed together and ends up getting slapped onto a vanity corner, hitting her head and bleeding to death. It's a miracle she kept any kind of compassion and kindness after that.
    • Jiwon's funeral had to be arranged by Jihyeok, since she had no living relatives. All the attendees note how wonderful a person she was and their regrets about never getting to know her better. Special note to Jiye and her friends, who found out too late Sumin's deception and regret never apologizing to Jiwon over their behavior during school.
  • Juran Yang is also fated to become a Broken Bird before Jiwon steps in to help her; she has to leave her newborn daughter in order to work, is harassed by Mr. Kim, and her husband is cheating on her with a coworker. In the first timeline, she is driven out of U&K Foods by Mr. Kim, while in the second she catches her husband cheating and collapses, discovering cancer cells in her stomach afterward.
  • Jiwon has finally hooked Minhwan and Sumin up (without their knowledge) thus completing her revenge. Instead of feeling satisfied, she stands outside the cab where the two are making out sobbing her eyes out.
  • Jiwon and Sumin's weddings to Minhwan are both pathetically sad. Their weddings are tightly controlled by their mother-in-law; they are forced to wear a dowdy wedding dress, and they end up sitting alone in the bride's room until their "best friend" shows up to steal the spotlight.
  • Jaok Kim was left to die on her kitchen floor by Sumin after having a stroke caused by the shock of learning her son, Minhwan, is infertile. She's considered an awful mother-in-law by both Sumin and Jiwon, but the latter is disgusted by what Sumin did.
    • Her final death by Sumin is even more horrible; she's unable to move while her daughter-in-law injects air bubbles into her IV, ensuring her a slow, painful death.
  • Jihyeok's big secret. He is also a time traveler like Jiwon, returning to the past to save Jiwon from her fate after never being able to tell her his feelings and forced to watch Jiwon suffer for ten years.
  • Sumin's final fate: life in prison without any contact from the outside world, while the one person she despised the most goes on to live a wonderful life. She was a horrible person, but she was also a pitiful girl who could have had a better life if she didn’t hold that grudge against Jiwon and took responsibility for her actions.
    The drama
  • Jiwon breaking down in tears when she realizes her beloved, deceased father masqueraded as the taxi driver who gave her a second chance at life.
  • Jiwon being badly bullied at school. The only person to "stand up to them" was Sumin, who says things like "You shouldn't torment your friends!" while looking as if she was enjoying that torment.
