Tear Jerker / My Kitchen Rules

• The last of the Instant Restaurant round (i.e. the elimination round) is always difficult for most of the contestants, especially when they've gotten along so well. Everyone wants to stay in the competition, but are reluctant to part with any of the other teams. This is especially true with Lynn and Tony from Season 6's secret round. They were one of the nicest and most hospitable among the group, and were seen as a parental figures by Emma & Jane and Will & Steve. Both teams were quite devastated when the old couple were eliminated.
• The second Sudden Death of Season 6, between Sheri & Emilie and Eva & Debra. It's bad enough that the two teams are some of the nicest people of the bunch, it's made worse by the fact that the four of them are very close friends. Eva & Debra were crying when they first realized that they would have to fight their MKR best friends to earn their rights to stay in the competition, and both teams actually managed to converse — even after being sent to their separate kitchens for the Sudden Death — to say how they miss each other.
• Vicky and Celine's unexpected withdrawal from the competition. The Greek mother and daughter had provided the show with much entertainment with their comedic antics, but Celine's hospitalization due to a food poisoning incident forces the two to leave. Vicky's parting words to the other teams brought a fair share of tears from the other teams, especially Rose.
• The elimination of the beloved Texan team, Robert & Lynzey was quite devastating for their fans, some of whom actually suspected unfair judging due to this very unexpected and saddening outcome. This is also an in-universe reaction, as most of the teams from Robert & Lynzey's Instant Restaurant group really wanted them to stay.
• Episode 36 of the 6th Season shows some heart-rendering moments when we see Rose break down twice during her Sudden Death cook-off. Some of their friends, who were watching from the sidelines, were almost reduced to tears to witness such an emotional scene, and even Manu thinks it's quite heartbreaking.
  Manu: You know, it will actually hurt me to see my mum cry.
