Tear Jerker / Incarnation of Legends

• Hestia Familia, like in canon, is forced to fight other familias, even their own friends, in order to protect the Xenos.
• Kaguya is forced into a Duel to the Death with her beloved sister after learning that the latter has been possessed by the ghosts of their ancestors.
• Aiz confronts the Count of Monte Cristo in her dreams, demanding to know why he hasn't prevented her hair from changing color. He reveals that he only prevents others from affecting her mind and soul, and that the change is all on her.
  Aiz fell down to her knees. No, it had to be someone else. She was fine before. This…this couldn’t be her. Yet the Count had no mercy, as he laid the truth bare, pointing at her with the flames of judgement.
  “You will be tortured by yourself, Proto Avenger. You, child, who does not dare to dive into the endless abyss, yet keeps her back to the shore. A soul with no determination. No steel.” He chuckled darkly. “The visions you see are not your future set in stone. But they show what we Avengers are. What you will, perhaps, one day become. A taste, as you will.”
• Finn is forced to acknowledge that the pallum going around killing other pallums is Fianna, goddess of the Pallum race, who has come to despise the race as a whole and him in particular for trying to become the new light of their people, accusing him of trying to replace her.
• Fianna-Fenia's entire backstory shows how all her efforts to inspire her race ended up being for naught all because she took on the name of Fianna, causing the entire Pallum race to worship her rather than look up to her as someone to aspire to.
• Despite Bell's best effort to get Solaris the medical assistance she needs, she dies in his arms just as he gets her to Miach.
• In a cruel way of History Repeats, Ryoma dies again leaving Oryou behind. The only thing keeping Oryou from wallowing in her despair is their child and her promising Ryoma to continue living.
  • It's also important that he was the first of the higher level returned servants to die. He was the lowest level of them all, but more importantly Ryoma was a staunch peacemaker.
  • The reactions of the remaining heroes are also sad. Romulus holds a pyre of respect. Hans writes down as much of his story as he can and loses a lot of sleep. Pentheselia dances in a ritual of sadness and fury. And Saber sits alone and grieves in silence.
• Aiz decides to fully give into the dark flame within her in order to defeat the Gorgon.
  Aiz was scared.
  The realization made her drop a last tear…before she took the dive, silencing the weak girl within her, that begged for a savior, that begged to not go down into the darkness. As her soul did so, as she drowned herself into the abyss…a final prayer left her mind.
  As she fed the Black Flame in her soul, as her hair turned more and more white, the fading of color almost reaching her roots as her eyes turned progressively yellow. As other emotions like joy, envy, pain and even love began to be burned away, leaving behind nothing but hatred.
  She prayed that her family, her friends, would kill her if she aimed this hatred at them. With that last thought of sanity, her mind was drowned in the flame of vengeance, her soul engulfed by it as it began to burn up.
  Time resumed.
  "NIZEL!!!"
  And for the first time, she cackled as she heard the agonized scream of Gorgon the moment her black wind hit its damned face.
  She felt no joy while doing so. It was an involuntary reaction from her body. After all…
  Right now, all she could feel was hatred.
  Ignoring the whimpering deep within, still alive, fighting, waiting for something that would never come.
  A savior.
  Just like always.
