Chaos Rings has quite the most tragic events in the story.
- Garrick's death has greatly impacted Alto by leaving her devastated, traumatized, and heartbroken. She goes AxCrazy when the trauma has taken too much on her and led her to attacking her other fellow contestants in each scenario she appears in except Olgar's. Even the other contestants feel sorry her for the loss of her reckless partner who died for violation of the Ark Arena rules.
- Each ending of the Ark Arena battles has every defeated contestants finished off by the Executioner. Many characters are in tears after their opponents are dead such as Musiea who cried for both Olgar and Vahti in Escher's route and even Zhamo cried when Ayuta and Mana died.
- After defeating Escher and Musiea in Ayuta's route, Mana pleads to the executioner to not kill them both and cries when both of them were finished off because the executioner is supposed to eliminate any defeated opponents in the Ark Arena fights.
