Bob has wronged Alice to such an extent that Alice is ready to do some harm towards Bob. Bob attempts to escape Alice's wrath to no avail. With no options left, Bob decides to just apologize to Alice. And to the shock of Bob it actually works. Turns out, Saying Sorry Saves Your Life.

He decides to call and apologize for his action with one person being very chill and accepting his apology. Moments later he crossed off Billy from his kill list. Not only that, he actually saves Billy and Veronica lives from a crazy gun wielding Eric when he shot him in the butt.

- Ducktales 2017: In "The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck!", Scrooge, with Louie, is put on a mystic trial by Flintheart Glomgold, Ma Beagle, and Magica De Spell for being the reason why they are evil with Doofus, Louie's rival, acting as their prosecutor. Hearing all the testimony and seeing how vengeance has consumed their life, Louie decides he doesn't want to live like that and apologises to Doofus for wronging him. Doofus seems to accept it since he hugs Louie and just leaves.
