Much like how strong and crude weapons symbolize a character being tough and brutish, this trope is about the opposite; graceful, elegant characters who use elegant weaponry that don't dirty them or which leave as little bloodshed from their victims as possible. The resident Knight in Shining Armor, Lady of War and even the lowliest of a noble fighter have weapons that scream grace and which suit their finesse-focused styles of combat.
The types of weapons used by such characters include (but are not limited to) spears, bows, rapiers, swords that are thinner and/or on the shorter side and staffs. For more gun-focused media, they may wield a smaller handgun or a pistol due to their size and them being more convenient to take out enemies.
