Tropes:

  • Adaptational Heroism: In most versions of Robin Hood, the Sheriff of Nottingham is Robin Hood's greatest enemy. Here, since he's played by Bob the Tomato, the Sheriff of Bethlingham serves as Robin Good's ally, even while he's under the service of Prince John.
  • Dirty Coward: Robin Good, the Sheriff, and Merry Men save the day...with no help from the cowardly Prince John.
  • Who's on First?: The Sheriff of Bethlingham wants to know what Robin's last name is and Robin repeatedly tells him that his last name is Good, naturally leading to some confusion.
Sheriff of Bethlingham: And do you have a last name, Robin?
    Robin Good: It's Good.
Sheriff of Bethlingham: I believe you. I'm sure it's great.
Robin Good: No, it's not Great. It's Good!
Sheriff of Bethlingham: There's nothing to be ashamed of. My last name is sort of mediocre.
Robin Good: I told you, Sheriff Mediocre. It's Good. My last name is Good.
Sheriff of Bethlingham: Why won't you tell me?!
    Robin Good: Tell you what?
Sheriff of Bethlingham: What your last name is?!
Robin Good: It's Good! Robin Good!
Sheriff of Bethlingham: (finally understanding) Oh, nice to meet you, Robin Good.
