This is the recap page for Ultraman Blazar. The series depicts the adventures of the team captain, Gento Hiruma, who can transform into the Giant of Light, Ultraman Blazar


  • Episode 1: First Wave: Captain Gento Hiruma leads a special squadron to deal with kaiju, but when one particularly strong and aggressive monster arrives from space, a miraculous light proves the key to victory. With the power of the light, Gento transforms into Ultraman Blazar!
  • Episode 2: The Man who Created SKaRD: When the fish-eating kaiju, Gedos, emerges to the surface to wreak havoc the newly-formed SKaRD must mobilize to defeat it, but can this brand-new team pull through its struggles to save the day?
  • Episode 3: The Name is Earth Garon: SKaRD receives a new member, Yasunobu, who's been developing Earth Garon, a powerful mech meant to combat kaiju. The team's training against kaiju threats must take a backseat when a mysterious phenomenon causes energy sources all around the world to be depleted.
  • Episode 4: Thus Fought Emi: Leviera, an ever-mysterious kaiju, shows up and returns from each defeat from a special chemical of the Novaio corporation without warning. When SKaRD looks deep into the situation, Emi finds herself at the center of a nefarious conspiracy involving the CEO Sonezaki.
  • Episode 5: The Mountain Roars: SKaRD tests out their new weapon: The Mega Shot, in Ari's hometown. But when her childhood friend, Mizuho, warns the team about their disturbance of the Earth God's, Dorgos, slumber they find out their test will have more than one setback to deal with.
  • Special Episode: Uncover the True Identity of the Giant Creatures: Members Reiko, Saburota and Takuma catch the viewers up to speed on Blazar's fight against many kaiju and the public's perception of the hero.
  • Episode 6: The Invading Aurora: Machines all over the world are malfunctioning or going haywire, causing worldwide accidents. When Yasunobu's washing machine acts up thanks to the influence of a mysterious Alien Canaan, SKaRD must find the culprits and stop them before it's too late for humanity.
  • Episode 7: Rainbow Appears: Part 1: When upside-down rainbows appear all over Japan the people expect prosperous rain, but Gento suspects a more sinister outcome is being heralded. When he goes to consult his old mentor, Professor Yokomine, he finds out the truth behind these mysterious appearances and a terrible fate about to befall Japan.
  • Episode 8: Rainbow Appears: Part 2: Yokomine and Nijikagachi keep on wreaking havoc unchallenged as they prepare to raze civilization to the ground. With their backs against the wall, SKaRD prepares to use the still-not completed Mega Shot on Earth Garon for its new Mod.2 ability.
  • Episode 9: Planet of Music: As a group of four men organize one last concert, a meteorite arrives on Earth containing the mighty robot Garamon; as SKaRD mobilizes to fight the invader, Anri suspects the concert might be connected to the newest threat.
  • Episode 10: Father and Son: The birth of a baby Demaaga awes a group of civilians, including Gento's son; but when the military attempts to capture it, the parent Demaaga shows up to protect its baby. With the dire situation at hand, Gento and Blazar fight a moral conflict between killing it or letting the Demaaga adult live.
  • Episode 11: Escape: Gento ends up conflicted about his relationship with Blazar after the incident with Demaaga, which only gets tougher to sort out when the second wave of kaiju invaders arrive in the form of the seemingly indestructible Gebalga, can Earthgaron defeat it?
  • Episode 12: Let's Go, Blazar!: With Gebalga contaminating networks around the city, the fight against it becomes ever more difficult, Gento and Blazar's conflict also reaches its apex as the human loses his trust in his bonded Ultraman, all the while SKaRD attempts to defeat the invading kaiju with a special joint operation.
  • Episode 13: SKaRD Nocturn: SKaRD gathers to discuss the connections between the many space kaiju that have arrived thus far and what this means for the future. Meanwhile, Gento's secret as Blazar is in danger of being exposed when Teruaki questions his chief about his opinion on Ultraman.
  • Episode 14: Moonlit Memories: The mighty flying kaiju Deltandal moves at Mach 9 speeds, making fighting it almost an impossibility. As SKaRD makes plans on how to defeat this threat, Emi stumbles upon secret files of the GGF labeled "V99" and discovers a certain experiment in the past with results not meant to be released to the public.
  • Episode 15: Betwixt Morn and Dusk: Gento's son, Jun, and his friends have some fun with drawing sketches but when one of their creations, Gavadon, comes to life with the aid of cosmic rays the children try and find a way to preserve their new friend and protect it from harm which soon escalates when the little Gavadon grows bigger with each new sketch.
  • Episode 16: Terror from the Underground: A mysterious underground threat forces SKaRD to face their greatest fears, preventing any effective action from being taken against it. It's up to Emi and Earthgaron to find a way to stop the madness of the fears and the culprit behind it.
  • Episode 17: The Wandering Zangill: As defeated kaiju appear without warning, SKaRD investigates who or what causes this mysterious phenomeno but every time a mysterious swordsman from outer space defeats them, as the team try to find out who this swordsman is Gento finds out this new face may be needed to stop the return of an old foe, who came back stronger than ever.
  • Episode 18: The Towering Terror: When colossal alien worms known as Irugo wreak havoc in Japan, Blazar and SKaRD find themselves facing a threat much larger than any they ever faced before.
  • Episode 19: Light and Flame: As Brood Gebalga overwhelms Earth's defenses with its strength, size and reproductive abilities, Blazar must find a new ally's help to defeat the colossal kaiju once and for all. As the battle for Earth rages, Emi discovers some terrible truths hidden until that day about the fated factory explosion incident from three years ago.
  • Episode 20: Night of Insects Chirping: Teruaki's father tries to get him to quit his work as a SKaRD member and settle down as a farmer like him; however this ends up unintentionally leading him to discover the presence of an alarmingly large swarm of insectoid kaiju who threaten not only the farmers' lives but all of the world if not stopped, and a mysterious deep cave may have the answers behind their appearance.
  • Episode 21: Battle in the Sky: With the threat of being shut down looming over their shoulders, SKaRD must prove they're still up to the task of protecting Earth by debuting the newly-developed Earth Garon Mod 3 against a colossal Deltandal.
  • Episode 22: Insurance Hero: Tetsuo Suzuki, a down-on-his-luck insurance agent, finds what appears to be a new hope for his life and his job when he meets and befriends a lonely old woman named Michiko, but as he tries to close the deal he gets caught in the midst of the rampage of a Red King and Guigass and has to save his new friend from this threat.
  • Episode 23: Visitor 99: Taganulars and Deltandals appear all over the world, sending SKaRD into a desperate and overwhelming situation as their activities escalate. However, they may soon find something worse than their past foes awaiting in the depths of space, as the third of the V99 wave invaders, Varallon, appears.
  • Episode 24: The Approaching Third Wave: Varallon utilizes its bombardment abilities to try and set the Moon's orbit off-course, in order to fulfill its goals of taking over Earth; with the planet facing a possible extinction, Blazar and SKaRD mobilize to put an end to the threat of the V99 invaders once and for all. All the while, Emi gets closer to unveiling the truth of V99, but her enemies might be closer than she expects.
  • Episode 25: The Ones Who Embrace Earth: Varallon arrives on Earth and begins to spread destruction and chaos, intending to finally destroy humanity. As a mysterious fleet arrives at the same time. Faced with the toughest odds yet, Blazar and SKaRD fight their last battle for Earth's safety.
