While the Trollz practice a beadless stone-to-flesh spell that requires five to be used effectively, they note how similar Ruby is to Obsidian, Sapphire is to Mr. Trollheimer, and Amethyst is to her grandmother. Onyx and Topaz wonder about the missing two Ancients, but Obsidian says that while they are still alive, now isn't the right time to go looking for them. Onyx is angered at this, and that night she has a prophetic dream about a tree deep in the Haunted Woodz and a woman calling for help. Onyx decides that this must be one of the missing Ancients, and is convinced it's her own.
Onyx enlists Topaz's help to go looking for her, using her dream as a guide. When they find the tree Onyx and Topaz try to cast the stone-to-flesh spell on their own. It frees the woman from the tree, but her mental state is addled, and to make matters worse, they also find a fire-breathing dragon guarding her! The other girls arrive to try and help, and Obsidian manages to save the day by playing musical instruments which make the dragon fly off in disgust—also annoying Onyx. Obsidian reveals that the woman they saved is named Zirconia. Simon trapped her in the form of a tree for 3,000 years, and she's Topaz's Ancient. Obsidian also reveals that they share a history with that dragon. Meanwhile, the dragon lands in front of a cave and cowers before Simon and Snarf...
