Recap / Time Stop Brave Ch 5 Quest and Stop

Go To

As the trio walk away, Niña says Sekai is amazing, but they don't know what to do next because the King didn't have a mission for them. They run into Will and Clau, both in casual clothes instead of their armor. Will again thanks Sekai for saving his life and was amazed by the fireworks display that proves Sekai is the Brave. Clau says she still doesn't accept him and will expose him for the rogue that he is. Will tells her not to be rude. Sekai says not to worry about him. He freezes time to pull down Clau's dress, fondle her nipples, and look down her panties, commenting that seeing her face frozen in a look of contempt actually turns him on, then puts her clothes back and unfreezes time. Clau walks away, but notices her clothes are rustled. Sekai asks Will if there are any cases that need to be solved. He can't think of any that got the notice of the Crown, but says that are many cases handled by civilians. Niña suggests they go to the Deception Tavern, which houses an adventurer's guild.

As they approach the tavern, Fury goes to ask Sekai something, addressing him by name for the first time. He becomes nervous and freezes time to grope her, but when he unfreezes time, she can again tell he did that and yells at him. Swordmaster Leafa is inside looking at the guild requests. She thinks the requests and the people inside are really weak. She checks out a request, but a man starts harassing her, looking down on her for being little. She slashes her sword to destroy his shirt, scaring him away. She sits down and remembers the time her sword, Iron Slayer, suddenly vanished and then was returned a few minutes later. The trio enters the building. As the patrons ogle Fury's body, she asks where Sekai came from, but he says he can't explain. He asks how she was able to tell what spell Clau's mage was chanting when they were so far away, and she says she has really good ears. Leafa is amazed at seeing a dark elf and can tell she is a skilled mage. She can tell Niña is skilled too, but is unimpressed by Sekai.

The same man whom Leafa drove away suddenly trips Sekai, saying he's had a bad day and he wants to take it out on someone. Annoyed, Sekai freezes time and steals his pants, embarrassing him. A woman threatens Sekai with a knife, but he says if she doesn't back off, he'll disarm her too. Another man suddenly recognizes Sekai as the one who defeated the sand worm a few days ago and warns her not to engage. She doesn't listen, then the next thing she knows, she is completely naked with her clothes folded in a neat pile. Disgusted, Niña calls him a pervert, but he says he would rather avoid unnecessary fights. The patrons start catcalling the woman and the two pick up their clothes and run away. Leafa wonders how he did that.

The trio check out the requests but they are mundane things like house cleaning, catching runaway chickens, and finding a missing wife. Leafa walks up and offers the request she is holding, which asks to liberate a tower in the east from a monster. Niña is entranced by her beauty and Sekai greets her by name. She asks how he knew her name and he gets nervous, remembering how he stole her sword and forgot to put her clothes back. He tries to cover it up by saying she is famous, but she says she is from Mountain Book and hasn't done anything in Belltree. Judging by his reaction, Leafa deduces he was the one who stole her sword and undressed her. Sensing danger, Sekai freezes time, but in the split second before it activates, Leafa draws her sword and slashes him in the side, severely injuring him.

Sekai is terrified of her speed. He staggers to a church and finds a cleric. After looking up her skirt, he unfreezes time, praying she can help him. In the tavern, everyone is shocked that Sekai vanished, but Leafa notices the blood on her sword and says she got him. Sekai suddenly reappears while grabbing Leafa's breasts. She attempts to retaliate, but finds her sword is gone and she's only in her panties and shoes with her pants around her ankles. He starts gloating, but she backhands him and breaks his nose. He freezes time again and complains. He remembers how the cleric saved him with a healing spell, but she wasn't skilled at it, forcing him to spend months in frozen time to recover. He pulls down her panties.

The next thing Leafa knows, her clothes and sword are back and Sekai is prostrating himself, begging for forgiveness. She is amazed that his injuries are healed, then realizes if he's that fast, he could have killed her at any time. She becomes aroused at the thought of meeting a warrior superior to herself. She accepts his apology, hands over the request, and asks for his name, which he gives. She says she'll remember it and walks away, thinking that one day, she'll defeat him.

Niña asks Sekai why he apologized and he says he definitely doesn't want Leafa as an enemy. He tells the two to have lunch while he takes care of the other requests. While they are eating, Sekai returns and says he finished the requests. Niña asks how he did that in just 20 minutes. Annoyed, he freezes time to lift her shirt and pull down her panties, ranting that finding a bunch of runaway chickens and a missing wife took a long time. He puts her clothes back and unfreezes time, saying as soon as they finish eating, they will go to the tower.

When they finish, he freezes time and carries the two in a cart to the tower, which is in a mountainous area. While Niña is shocked by her new surroundings, Fury comments it normally takes 3 days to walk here, so Sekai must have frozen time. She then scolds him for groping her while moving her. He says if they walked here normally, he would have run out of time. Fury asks what he means by that, and he says he constantly only has three days to do his missions. Now it is time to subjugate the tower.

  • Defeat by Modesty:
    • Leafa destroys the belligerent man's shirt to make him back off.
    • Sekai strips the same man and the woman who tries to attack him to make them run away. However, this tactic fails when he tries it on Leafa.
  • I Never Told You My Name: Sekai messes up by calling Leafa by name, letting her know he was the one who stole from her.
  • Not So Invincible After All: Sekai learns he is not untouchable when Leafa injures him twice despite his time stop ability.
