Lady Penelope and Parker investigate reports of an abominable snowman, only to have an encounter with the Hood!
This episode provides examples of:
- Adaptation Expansion:
- The oil rig fire International Rescue are seen fighting at the start of the episode is not present in the original audio episode. The implication that this was another in a series of fires over the past month indicates the Hood set up the fire so as to drive up the price the uranium he was mining.
- Thunderbird 2 is sent to Himalayas with Thunderbird 1, only to have to abort landing due to the exploding base.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Overlapping with Adaptation-Induced Plot Hole, it is unknown what happened to the other men the Hood kidnapped. Scott states that the police will help the other men when they arrive to apprehend the Hood but the televised episode then has the Hood set his base to explode (in the audio drama, he stays knocked out from Scott's tranquilizer gun and so does not blow up his base). Scott, Penelope and Parker are then seen running away from the explosion and the implication is that either the other men were killed off screen when the base exploded or Parker had already gotten them outside before going back in for Penelope earlier.
