Recap / 3-2-1 Penguins! Episode 6: Moon Menace on Planet Tell-a-Lie

Go To

In the attic, Jason and Michelle are playing giant-monster-terrorizing-the-townsfolk. Jason is the giant monster, and Michelle is the townsfolk, albeit townsfolk that express dull terror at the giant monster. In typical pretending-to-be-a-giant-monster fashion. Jason grabs a dartboard and throws it across the attic. Grandmum ends up catching it, which segues into how she got the dartboard in the first place.

Trope Menace on Planet Tell-a-Lie:

  • Honesty Aesop: At the end, Jason learns that it's best to be honest and tells Grandmum the truth about what happened to her dartboard.
  • Quaking with Fear: At the final showdown with Honcho Villa in the Galaxy Gus musical segment, Galaxy Gus starts to shake in his boots, his teeth start chattering, and he bites his gloved hand as the outlaw Honcho Villa approaches him.
  • Snowball Lie: How this entire mess got started. The king of Tell-a-Lie pressed a button that released the moon from its orbit, and asked everyone to lie so he wouldn't get caught. Everyone's constant lies caused the moon to fall towards the planet.
  • Weird Moon: Tell-a-Lie's moon is controlled by the planet itself instead of its own. When it is on its own, it'll crashed down if anyone lies.
