Scooby witnesses a faceless zombie stealing a rare coin, and the gang sets out to investigate.
This episode includes examples of the following:
- Cursed Item: The mystery kicks off when Scooby witnesses a robbery and the coin shop's owner reveals it's the Golden Galleon, a supposedly cursed sixteenth-century coin.
- Killer Gorilla: One chases the gang around the Dilly Dally Dolly Co. toy factory. It turns out to be one of the owners, and the episode's criminal, in disguise.
- Robotic Reveal: The No-Face Zombie turns out to be a robot controlled by Mr. Dilly.
- Scully Syndrome: Mr. Dilly scoffs at the idea of a zombie stealing the coin. Subverted when it turns out he's the one controlling the robot that stole it.
