Two days before the final exams Grey announces that the higher-ups demanded that every rookie needs to be the primary in certain types of crimes or they can't take the exam. West still needs four types and Chen needs seven. Chen's attempts to get these crimes results in numerous comedic moments while West screws up each of his attempts due to a desire to differentiate himself from his father. Meanwhile Nolan's friend Ben became the victim of a car jacker. Nolan tracks down the man but finds him willing to snitch on his boss, getting him off. Bishop, meanwhile, faces a disciplinary committee for lying about her association with a criminal.
