- Inconvenient Itch: Dougal ends up with an annoying itch that keeps moving about in his fur, even when Florence tries to scratch his fur for him. This itch kept bugging Dougal throughout the episode where he enlists the help of the itch doctor, makes up with his friends for his rudeness earlier when they try to help before inviting them to do the dance with him in an attempt to cure it until it was revealed when Mr. Grimsdale puts a drop of a grape juice in his fur, Fly was causing the itch.
- Noodle Incident: Ermintrude recalls the time an apple fell on Dougal's head where he mistaked it for a meteorite.
- What the Hell, Hero?: When Dougal comes to ask Florence if she can come with him to do the dance in order to get rid of his fur, she instead scolds him for being very rude to her and causing a mess in the house when she was trying to help to get rid of the fur. But seeing Dougal is sorry, she agrees to come with him on the condition he cleans up the mess first.
