Shaun and Jared take care of a homeless patient. Glassman makes a decision about his health. An important person returns to Shaun's life.
- The Bus Came Back: After leaving in episode 12 of Season 1, Lea is back in the series and in Shaun's life, and this time as part of the regular cast.
- Promoted to Opening Credits: Will Yun Lee (Dr. Alex Park), Fiona Gubelmann (Dr. Morgan Reznick), Christina Chang (Dr. Audrey Lim) and Paige Spara (Lea).
- Put on a Bus: Jared leaves the hospital and moves on to another, aware that he will never again have the respect and trust of Andrews and Melendez after what he did. He still has time to say goodbye to Shaun and Claire.
- Wham Line:Lea: Won't you say hello?
- Wham Shot: Shaun returns to his apartment... and to his shock, sees Lea at his door.
- What Happened to the Mouse?: Jessica disappears from the hospital and is not even mentioned by the characters.
