Relationships are complicated.
Shaun, Morgan and Lim treat a woman with autism and a delicate brain condition while navigating the complicated relationship she has with her roommate, who is also on the spectrum. Meanwhile, Lea and Shaun are still figuring out their friendship and roommate status.
- Contrived Coincidence: The Patient of the Week is a woman with autism who has a complicated romantic relationship with her roommate. This happens just when Shaun is jealous of Lea's boyfriend.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Shaun is clearly annoyed by Lea's boyfriend's visits and his attempts to befriend him seem more in fact to annoy the couple. At the end of the episode Shaun has a frank conversation with Lea and he decides to give the couple more space.
