It's time to get back to work, but first...
In the aftermath of the quarantine, the staff of the hospital tries to return to their normal routines as the Department of Public Health office decides they need to review what transpired to restore public confidence. Meanwhile, as Lim recovers from the virus, she Melendez navigate their new personal and working relationship, while Shaun and Dr. Aaron Glassman try to relax and visit Lea at work.
- Downer Ending: The episode ends with Shaun discovering that Lea is dating. He is clearly uncomfortable with the news.
- Out-of-Genre Experience: The only episode in the series where the characters do not solve any case in the hospital. Instead, the episode focuses on their personal lives.
- Sherlock Scan: Glassman suggests that Lea shouldn't have any other friends in town besides Shaun, considering she's always in his company. In a coincidence, Lea calls Shaun and invites him and Glassman to visit her at her work, stating that Shaun is the only person she knows in town.
