A Plot: Adam hears about some missing family jewelry and, inspired by The Goonies, decides to make an adventure out of looking for it. Erica and Barry, having had enough of Adam's obsession with the adventure film, decide to prank him using a fake treasure map.
B Plot: Beverly is curious where the jewelry is, so she asks Pops for it while the gang are out searching for it. After looking for the jewelry everywhere, they find it in Murray's office.
- Treasure Hunt Episode: Barry and Erica trick Adam into going on a treasure hunt due to his obsession with The Goonies. After the mean-spirited prank, they end up going on one for real when Grandpa needs help finding a lost memento.
- Whole-Plot Reference: The first of many episodes to play tribute to a classic 80's movie, in this case, The Goonies.
