Jo's attitude towards her new boyfriend changes when she discovers that he's wealthy.

- Nice Guy: Bill is actually a very pleasant fellow despite Jo's suspicions. His parents also seem nice as well.
- She Cleans Up Nicely: Jo looks very beautiful after Blair dresses her up for her dinner date with Bill's family in a blue dress and does her makeup. Unfortunately, in a act of rebellion and stupidity, she goes to the date dressed the way she usually does.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Mrs. Garrett to Jo at the end, for letting her insecurities get the better of her.
- Wrong Assumption: Jo assumes that because Bill and his family are rich, that they're going to be jerks, this leads to her making a fool of herself when she meets them for dinner at a fancy restaurant.
