The first segment has Kuzco having to take Kuzcogarten due to not having done it before. The second episode has Yzma hire an exterminator to get rid of Kuzco who takes too much control away from her.
Kuzcogarten
While searching through Kuzco's records, Yzma finds out that Kuzco never passed Kuzcogarten, so she turns herself into a kuzcogartener in an attempt to make him fail when Kuzco gets sent to take it. At first her efforts get Tipo and Fury to become hostile toward Kuzco due to his behavior. Eventually though, Malina has a talk with them and the three learn to get along, leaving Yzma to take matters into her own hands. Unfortunately, none of her attempts work, and Kuzco passes and returns to his regular education while Yzma finds herself tied to a tetherball pole by the other Kuzcogarteners for disturbing them during naptime.Evil and Eviler
When Yzma suffers from a serious block that renders her unable to come up with a plan to take Kuzco down that she hasn't done before, she decides to hire an emperor exterminator named Miss Ni. However, Miss Ni ends up taking control of her offices and refuses to let her take part in planning Kuzco's demise. When Miss Ni introduces herself to the school, Kuzco decides he wants to be a bad boy and get under Miss Ni's skin. Malina eventually finds out Miss Ni was hired by Yzma and attempts to warn Kuzco, only for the two of them to be surrounded by crocodiles. They are saved in the nick of time by Kronk, Yzma, and their own gator. Afterward, Yzma fires Miss Ni, who reveals to have been aware that Yzma would have a change of heart and gives her a bill for her services, which end up being through the roof.This episode contains examples of:
- Manipulative Bitch: While disguised as a kindergartener, Yzma sows seeds of distrust in the other kindergarteners so they will turn on Kuzco. Sure enough, it becomes harder for them to warm up to him.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Yzma starts having this attitude after Miss Ni kicks her out of her office twice. When she starts questioning who hired her, Kronk has to point out that she did.
- Xanatos Gambit: It ultimately doesn't matter if Kuzco gets taken out or not to Miss Ni. She was well aware of the possibility that Yzma would save him and charges her accordingly. No matter the outcome, Miss Ni still wins.
