Took a Level in Kindness: Despite her telling herself that she'll kill the Nadder when she's done with it, Astrid finds that she's actually come to like the Nadder as much as it likes her. Thus, she decides to hide it in the cove and visit it when she can.
Wham Episode: After discovering the source of the raids, Astrid and Fishlegs come to the conclusion that they need a Night Fury to fight the Red Death, and thus they must find Hiccup to end their war with the dragons.
Wham Shot: Astrid's first look at the Red Death is this, as she watches it eat a Gronkle that displeased it. The sheer size of the dragon makes her realize how much danger the Vikings would be in if they attacked head-on.
