Raiga is jostled back into consciousness by the sound of her own heartbeat. It takes a bit for her vision to return to her and at first she sees the snarling visage of Mirror Godzilla all around her. The heart rate monitor she's connected to spikes and she ends up lurching out of her hospital bed, futilely trying to summon up some electricity due to thinking she's under attack.
Starlight Glimmer grabs her and says they are safe in the hospital, but Godzilla escaped. She checks Raiga for a fever. Dame Destroyah, wearing a nurse's outfit, cheerfully walks in. Raiga panics and tries to escape, but Destroyah casually pins her down with one hoof. She pulls out a clipboard and lists all the injuries Raiga sustained in her fight, including a dislocated vertebrae that Destroyah had to shove back into place. They've given her a lot of painkillers and Lightning Dust was able to hook her up to a live wire to replenish her energy. Raiga still tries to escape despite Starlight pleading that Destroyah is on their side.
Duchess Chrysalis walks in and Starlight happily hugs her mentor. Chrysalis thanks Raiga, for without her, there would have been countless dead. Raiga is still trying to process all this when she senses another of her kind nearby. Sir Xenilla asks if he may come in, and Chrysalis says he may. He enters, and Raiga is taken aback that this version of Xenilla has no trace of arrogance in him, but looks deep in thought. He says he can tell she is not the Raiga he knows, but they have a lot to talk about.
Despite all his injuries, Godzilla Junior limps through a dust storm in the badlands. The emergency teleportation sent him a safe distance away from the battle, but he still has to walk to Empress Cadenza's old hideout. Like in the Deer Kingdom, it is lined with crystals that prevent its detection. As he enters the cave, he greets Rodan and Anguirus, using first a display of radiation and then a unique tap on the wall to prove it is him and not a Changeling imposter. Inside, Battra Lea and Empress Cadenza have salvaged what remained of their laboratory and are setting up a new one here. He walks to the back to check on something.
Xenilla says that it was his mistake that Godzilla Junior lives. He and Destroyah are doing their best to defend Equestria, but it's four against two.
Godzilla walks up to an Aerenth coffin. He basks in its energy and his injuries start to heal.
Xenilla says Raiga has two choices. She can either work on finding a way back to her home, or... He pauses to levitate a dual yellow and blue crystal to her.
Inside the coffin is King Sombra, the hero who willingly took on Celestia and Luna's evil to free them from it. Even though he is in a coma, he still feels agony as Godzila drains his dark power to heal himself.
Xenilla says Raiga can choose to help them finish what they started. She feels the healing energy from the crystal.
Godzilla finishes healing and smirks. Battra Lea looks on in approval.
Raiga basks in the crystal's energy and her injuries start to heal.
