Meeting up with Shen and Arisu after getting his weapon, Kenzo hands them Spellstone to test them out. Shen and Arisu successfully unleash the stones' powers, indicating their possible Awakenings. The Raptor Pack then sets off to hunt more Shadows.
A younger student named Ryouto Yoshino observes the trio from afar, witnessing their fight against Lesser Shadows. He takes note of their teamwork and drawbacks while thinking back on how the Outbreak affected his family. After losing sight of the Raptor Pack, Ryouto leaves to head home for the night.
Sho finds himself in the Velvet Room, meeting with all its residents and the Wild Cards. As Margaret and Lavenza inform him of the growing strength within his heart, Sho finally realizes the true purpose of having the Wild Card's power. Igor offers the contract, which Sho accepts and signs; after receiving his Velvet Key, Sho gets introduced to his attendant, Lucy. Igor then grants all the Wild Cards (sans Ren and Aigis) special abilities: Perfect Memory for Yu, Foresight for Minako, Magician's Flame for Kenzo, and Devil's Aura for Sho. Shortly after gaining his ability, Sho immediately challenges Lucy to a fight.
Following Sho and Lucy's departure, the Wild Cards discuss Minako's recent Phantom Class Awakening. Kenzo suggests changing the name of the Phantom Thieves, Yu, Rise, and Minako's costumes from "Phantom Thief Outfits" to "Rebel's Garb." Kenzo then heads over to Igor and asks for a Persona Fusion.
