Summer Dates
Makoto shares her date plans with Sumire, who remembers her former crush on Ren, while Ann also admits to being briefly attracted to him. Makoto then teases Ann about having a thing for Ryuji before leaving the Thieves' Den.
After having lunch, Ren and Makoto make their way to the arcade in Akihabara when they encounter Kenzo, who is getting chased by a spider-like Shadow after taunting it. Kenzo then summons his Persona to attack the enemy, eventually defeating it. Ren warns him not to use the Vane before Kenzo declares he will get rid of it once he Awakens his real Persona. They agree to meet up at the arcade later.
As Ren and Makoto play Gun About, Shinya approaches the couple and informs them how he's been holding up since the Outbreak. Kenzo soon arrives at the arcade, showing the items he collected from the Shadow, including strange black stones. Ren takes one of them and uses a curse skill, enchanting it. Kenzo then reassures the Persona-users that he will not let the Vane corrupt him before leaving.
Following their time in the arcade, Ren and Makoto finish watching a dinosaur movie and head to a restaurant that Sojiro recommended. While there, they run into Eiko Takao, a friend of Makoto's who became a waitress at the restaurant. After Eiko takes their orders and goes to the kitchen, Ren and Makoto discuss Ryuji and Ann possibly having feelings for each other. Soon, Eiko returns with the couple's orders, only recognizing Ren once he wears his fake glasses to confirm his identity.
Somewhere else, at a shrine, Yu and Rise prepare themselves to remove their inner masks. Rise doubts whether they can do it, but after Yu reassures her, she immediately kisses him. After kissing each other, the couple renews their vows of love, allowing them to become Phantom Class Persona-users.
