Chapter 16: Saitama POV

After Saitama, Saiki, Mob, and Nagisa split from Spike, Mafuyu, Izuku, and Serinuma and get over the shock of Killua trying to kick down a door, they head up to the right hallway.

The first room is an entertainment room: the right side with various casino tables, a dozen computers, and a bar stocked with high-quality alcohol; and the left side with a pair of widescreen TVs, several game consoles, and vending machines. They find that the computers unlock via thumbprint, and while Saitama tries to calm the nervous Mob, Saiki leaves as soon as the room proves to have no clues.

The second room is a crafting room, with abundant supplies for sewing, drawing, painting, and sculpting. Saitama notes Mob's anxiety and how he's afraid to talk to people, and helps encourage him to talk to the others by sharing one thing they found. Nagisa asks if either of them sew, and at their denials, he's at a loss for clues about their kidnapper. Mob suggests it could be a spirit but cannot explain why due to their speech impediment.

Noticing that Saiki has gone, an annoyed Nagisa leads them to another room, where Saiki is standing between two doors, one labeled "Science Lab" and the other "Medical Wing," with the former having a red lightbox sign to warn against entry. Understanding the reasoning, Saitama looks in the lab, seeing it well-stocked with abundant equipment and resources, but nothing else noteworthy. Then they look in the medical wing, finding several beds and nightstands, a couple of cabinets, and a PC.

Saitama leads Mob through another door on the right side of the room, finding a supply and checkup room with the standard equipment. Saitama reflects on the last time he went to the doctor and realizes with a flash of horror that his training regimen erased his ability to be sick. He snaps out of this at seeing Mob unnerved, leading him to a mini-fridge with several blood bags labeled by type, with two being labeled specifically for Legoshi and one having pink-colored blood. As they talk about the implications, Saitama says it could be a precaution, which Nagisa agrees with from the doorway. He leads them back to the computer in the other room, where Saiki was able to pull up Nagisa's general information; while a thumbprint was required for anyone to see anyone else in complete detail, Saiki was able to see complete details about himself in the computer, including things he himself did not know. This makes them all even warier of their kidnapper, and Mob rushes out to check the last room, Saitama wondering what scared him so much.

To everyone's surprise and disappointment, the last door leads to a laundry room. It's well-stocked, and Mob finds that the washers and dryers change languages according to thumbprints, but nothing out of the ordinary.

They meet back in the entrance hall, and group one soon arrives with the panicked Rin leading.
