Recap / Strong Bad Email E 5 Making Out

Go To

Airdate: Tuesday, October 9, 2001

Sender: Kissless in Santa Rosa

Strong Bad: (singing) Checkin' emails is like the best thing I do.

"Kissless in Santa Rosa" asks Strong Bad how to get her boyfriend to make out with her, lamenting that she's had no luck with "that Peter Frampton thing".

Strong Bad: Well, Kissless, you're going about it all wrong. Frampton's not going to loosen anybody's lips. If you really want to make out with this guy, you need to go straight to the master of make out rock himself... me!

Strong Bad advises Kissless to set up some mood lighting and wine for when he gets home from work, then put on Strong Bad's hit single "You're Really Ugly (But There's Nobody Cute Around)".

Strong Bad: I'll tell you what, he'll be all over you like the King of Town on a Chinese buffet, man.

Tropes

  • Damned by Faint Praise: Strong Bad's idea of a make-out jam is entitled "You're Really Ugly (But There's Nobody Cute Around)".
  • Ready for Lovemaking: A PG-rated version; Strong Bad offers advice on how to set the mood for a make-out session.
  • Shout-Out: The page title is "Frampton's Camel", which is the name of Peter Frampton's backing band, as well as his 1973 album.

Strong Bad: All right, so until next time, send me more questions. Send me more questions!
