Above the skies of Muunilinst, the aerial attack has officially commenced. Young Skywalker handles himself quite well, but the expression on his face indicates that he remains troubled by his discussion with Obi-Wan. On the planet's surface, the ARC Troopers' assault has only grown more intense, and the Separatist forces are struggling to hold them off. This greatly displeases the Banking Clan's chairman, a Muun by the name of San Hill, who worriedly watches the battle's progress with several colleagues of his via a hologram in the Clan's headquarters. This worry is only exacerbated when the Clones manage to destroy the building's cannon. Now frantic, Hill calls attention to the silent, droid-like figure standing in the back of the room. A bounty hunter by the name of Durge, San Hill begins to ask why Count Dooku bothered hiring him if all he was going to do is stand around. Durge grabs San Hill by the throat before he can complete the sentence, though, at which point the Muun backs off.

It is then that Durge finally jumps into action. Armed with a lance, the bounty hunter rides into Harnaidon on a speeder bike, accompanied by a small army of IG-series droids riding speeders of their own. Durge and his droid accomplices make their presence on the battlefield known quickly, taking a battalion of clones by surprise and dispatching them en masse. Within no time, the entire battalion has been wiped out, and Durge lets out a victorious howl while smoke billows behind him.

Chapter 4 contains examples of:

  • All There in the Manual: Durge's IG droids are designated IG lancer combat droids, also known as IG-series battle droids or simply IG lancer droids.
  • Bullying the Dragon: San Hill starts complaining how useless Durge until the latter shows him otherwise.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Durge and his IG droids completely decimate a large number of the Clone forces.
  • Neck Lift: San Hill receives one courtesy of Durge.
