JD tries to break up with Danni, but he never broke up with anybody. While Perry -for the first time in a long time- is happy, and that reflects on his behavior in the hospital. Now he has the problem of not having anybody interested in his lessons and teaching because the only way he can teach is through fear, so he will have to "scare them back to him". And Elliot finds out that the whole hospital -except the janitor- is making fun of her new look, and she has to lose it or not worry what they think.
- Bait-and-Switch: It looks like Cox is talking to a therapist about how his therapist has made him a warmer, happier person. He's talking to his son.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Cox and Jordan tear into a mother at the park who asks if her son could play with one of Jack's toys but given that she asked in a very condescending way and (give what Cox says she had just been doing) isn't a very attentive parent, it's hard to fault them for it.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Cox chews the team out for not listening to his lecture about how to use a necessary piece of equipment.
