Chapter Four of POST-MU Life's a Scream!

The OK Fraternity brought the newly formed Sorority back to their original Fraternity House (which is Squishy mother's home) and Mike graced all the Monsters present with the tale of how he and Sulley made the monsters of the OK Fraternity into who they are today. Laura also revealed that she has actually named Archie the Scare Pig during her time back at Fear Tech, who is known to her affectionately as Archibald Sharp. During the story-telling, Randall politely excused himself when Mike's tale reached a rather sensitive moment, and left by the back door claiming that he wanted some fresh air. During the part where Mike told the girls that the OK Fraternity, as well as himself and Sulley, broke into Monsters Inc. and watched the Scarers at work to bring back their fighting spirits, Laura was surprised that the Scare Floor they were observing was the one her father was working in.

However, when Mike mentioned that Sulley was the one who rigged the Scare Simulator, Laura was overcame with a myriad of emotions, of which anger was a large majority. She was reminded through a flashback of her younger life in which her father told her his experience with the Sullivan family and their child Sulley, who boasted that he could become a Scarer without a need for an assistant in front of her father and the other Scare assistants. That memory merely added to Laura's resentment of Sulley further, and she resolved to find out for herself whether Sulley has changed for the better since his earlier younger days.

Meanwhile, Randall was reminiscing about what he had done under the influence of the ROR Fraternity towards Mike, Sulley and the OK Fraternity last semester, until he was interrupted by Mrs Carlton, who clearly saw the hurt within his heart through Randall's emerald green eyes. Knowing that his naive personality was what had been taken advantage of, Mrs Carlton told Randall that it was time to put his mistakes behind and make amends, since the pieces of his life are being put back for him at the moment...and it was never too late to fix things. Changing the subject, Mrs Carlton requested Randall to indulge in his love of baking, and while he was at it, show her his cupcake-making skills.

Returning to the living room of the Oozma Kappa Fraternity House, where Mike was telling Laura what happened at the pre-Semester wedding, Randall was introduced to Monnie Monstre, who was the monster girl who saved him from Johnny earlier. Expressing his gratitude to her, Randall properly introduced himself and the two of them almost immediately taken a liking towards each other. In the meantime, Laura learned from Mike that even though he hated Sulley at first, they soon recognised the value each other provides when the duo comes together, hence allowing them to successfully achieve what each of them never could. He inquired what Laura saw in Johnny, although Laura herself could not quite put her paw on it.

Later, Mike managed to find Randall alone and they both make peace with each other with regards to their individual actions last semester, before making their way down to have dinner with the OK Fraternity and Monster University's latest Sorority. When it was time to part ways, Squishy was obviously mesmerized by Laura's character and personality that he was honestly a little disappointed that she had to leave. After wishing each other success in the first event segment of the RENEWED Scare Games, they bid each other farewell...for now.

Back in her own assigned dorm room, Laura was reminded of her time in Fear Tech and how she remembered the Fear Tech students portrayed their greatest rivals during her time there. Although her intentions was good-natured, it was met with mass disapproval from other more fanatical Fear Tech students, and her questions were rebuffed coldly every single time. The Scare Games that Laura endured in Fear Tech normally held were a battlefield compared to the simple war that the MU Scare Games were. Resolving to do her best, Laura turned in for the night.

Squishy, on the other hand, was having a rather...romantic dream about Laura Sharp when he was awakened by his alarm clock, accidentally causing Randall to fall off the top-most bunk. While enjoying breakfast with the rest of the OK Fraternity, Randall was revealed to still harbor resentment towards Sulley, but he kept that emotion under his usual facial expressions from his new Fraternity brothers.

The presidents of every Fraternity and Sorority in MU was called in for an important meeting at the Greek Council Building, and Laura was flustered as she had only minutes to spare before getting to the meeting itself. After getting instructions from a couple of EEK girls, Laura located the place and managed to discover the Hall of Fame in the Greek Council Building, discovering an interesting picture of Dean Hardscrabble as a member of the HSS Sorority in her youth. With a little help of Don Carlton who arrived a little later, they managed to get to the important meeting on time.

Meeting the other presidents of the other Fraternities and Sororities, Laura was also introduced to Claire Wheeler and Brock Pearson of the Greek Council, who announced that they are using the same event for the toxicity challenge, but with a twist: They are going to use explosive toxic urchins this time, and woe betide any Monster who gets splashed by the poison that existed in the urchins this time. Laura, who was obviously alarmed by this, nearly suffered from a panic attack on the spot until Carla and Don managed to get her to calm down.

Archie the Scare Pig, who was clearly looking for his ex-caretaker across MU Campus, made his way towards the Greek Council Building and inadvertently caused chaos in the room when he tried to escape being caught by the various fraternity and sorority leaders. After Laura has managed to catch Archie and apologised to all those present, she was escorted out by Don who offered to take her on a tour of Monsters University. Johnny Worthington, who was clearly interested in forming a relationship with Laura, was coldly told off by Carla who felt that he wasn't the Monster suitable for her, and Laura wasn't interested in romance anyway. Johnny wasn't deterred from this however, and his mind thought of ways to get Laura's attention.

Naomi tried her chance to apologise to Terry Perry, but the latter was clearly avoiding her to the extent of pleading with his younger brother to send her away. Terri tried to reason with his elder brother about his relationship problems, but that proved to be useless. Only a timely intervention from Katy, who requested the Perry twins to go with her to the Glee Club, saved Perry from further argument with his younger brother.

The members of the OK Fraternity mingled with the members of the EZ sorority, and found themselves sharing common interests, or the fact that their personalities complemented each other perfectly. Randall shared a nice, quiet moment with Monnie who told him about her dreams of becoming a DJ like her mother, making music that brought smiles to everyone's faces. Dot managed to get some encouragement regarding her Scaring skills from the philosophical Art during their viewing of the students' Art Gallery. Katy managed to attract Terri's interest with her rapping, and Terri informed her that she must enter the talent competition which was coming up soon. In the interm, Laura and Don talked about Mike and Sulley's actions last Semester, as well as their trip into the human world, which Don told her that young Monsters tend to be naive and sometimes make mistakes due to their need to be recognised by others. Laura, however, wasn't buying the explanation and her enmity towards Sulley deepened even further, despite Don's words that he doesn't hold it against Mike nor Sulley for what happened last semester.

The OK Fraternity went to the gym to train up their physical skills, but they met Johnny and Chet there, who teased them on not being on par with the ROR Fraternity. Squishy later met Laura, who managed to encourage him to be confident since he has Mike as a coach for them. Johnny tried to get Laura's attention, and Squishy, who was dismayed by that, met a little accident that saved Laura from Johnny's advancements. The ROR president was forced to reluctantly leave later, after he saw Randall and Monnie, of which the latter shot him a hostile glare.

Dean Hardscrabble, who was calmly observing the interactions between the OK Fraternity and the EZ Sorority members from the windows of her personal office, and mused to herself how quickly Laura has made her mark in MU. Vaguely reminded of the little wager she had with Mike Wazowski last Semester, she has initially thought Laura was like Sullivan, but she was proven to be wrong as she was nothing like him, but she reminded him of the strong-willed and determined Mike Wazowski. She was also amazed by the fact that there were actually others who supported Laura within the student population, and formed a sorority for her to enter the Scare Games. Even though she has her own doubts regarding Laura's panic attacks, she could not help but wish the girl good luck, and hope that her team will overcome the challenges soon to face them.

In the intervening time, Naomi got her chance to speak to Terry Perry in the University Library, but she was instead harshly rebuked by the elder Perry twin (who in the process scared off the Librarian) who told her that her sorority was no better than the ROR Fraternity, and he hated her for betraying his first attempt at getting true love from someone he liked. After hearing his damning speech, Naomi fled from the Library in tears, only to be comforted by her best friend Nadya as well as Mike and Sulley.

At the same moment, Terri asked his elder brother why he was so harsh towards Naomi, and Terry snapped that if his affections were betrayed the first time he tried to love another, he would never love any other monster girl again, which shocked his younger brother immensely.

The night of the first segment of the RENEWED Scare Games arrived, and all the participating Fraternities and Sororities were present for it by being at Sewer 14. However, mishap struck during the event when Colette fell off Laura's back during their escape from the explosive toxic urchin sewers. Laura suffered a nearly severe panic attack when she blamed herself for leaving Colette behind, who was actually distracted because she was so attracted by George Sanderson of the JOX Fraternity (who she thought was love at first sight) that she fell off. Thankfully, with the help of her friends, she managed to calm down while they mentally willed for Colette to finish the event before their sorority was eliminated. Narrowly winning the event, the EZ girls celebrated their success with cheers and congratulations from the OK Fraternity.

While Colette was making her way to join her sorority for a photo by Lane Picca, she accidentally tripped and fell into George's arms. After sharing awkward words with each other while blushing, Colette find herself actually finding the JOX Fraternity member rather dashing and cute. She hoped to meet him again, and it seems her wish would be granted soon enough...
