Samurai is the 25th episode of Popee the Performer, and the 12th episode of Season 2. The airdate is unknown.
Popee and Papi are hesitant to engage in a sword fight. Kedamono becomes bored and hungry from waiting for them. This is the first appearance of White Wolf
This episode provides examples of:
- Duel to the Death: The premise of the episode, somewhat subverted by the actual fight sequences being imagined.
- Eye Scream: Papi lodges his sharp headpiece in Popee’s eye.
- Running Gag: None of the action depicted is actually happening; Papi and Popee are just imagining a samurai battle with each other, and the point of view bounces back and forth between them a whole bunch.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Kedamono doesn't end up in serious danger in this episode and the worst thing that happens to him is getting his hand stuck in a candy jar. The episode even ends with him happily licking a lollipop.
