Part 27 All Things in Twilight
We start with the Elements on guard as suddenly the castle starts shaking. When the shaking stops a scroll appears, Twilight carefully opens the scroll and is shocked by its contents. It is a spell that she tried to create to send information backwards through time during one of Discord's attempts of flip-flopping her between Twilight Sparkle and Twilight Tragedy. Twilight believed that the spell was destroyed by herself when Discord discovered her attempt to make the spell. The Voice says that this spell is perfect saying that it can prevent Discord from ever coming into power, and though Twilight tries to convince The Voice of the good in Dark World, The Voice will have none of that and seemingly hypnotizes her into trying to cast the spell. Just as it seems that Twilight is going to do so, the casting of the memory spell on Discord activates. We see that everything saw in Discord's rule as The Dark World, he saw as The Groundhog Day Prison. He was unable to escape and The Voice always made sure he was defeated by the Elements. We then see how it possibly began, Discord being defeated, but at the cost of everyone but Twilight, who in her madness about the cost went Nightmare. The vision is what Twilight needed to see to refuse to cast the spell to continue Discord's punishment and she asks the one question to The Voice that she has never been able or have wanted to ask, "What are you?" The Voice tries to pass herself of as Cadence, but Twilight sees right through it saying that there is only one mare who can be so smart and yet so naive, Twilight Sparkle herself. Twilight shadow starts to take a life of its own while The Voice is screaming at Twilight about what a fool she is. The Shadow tries to absorb Twilight into herself but the Elements reminder of their friendship prevents her from taking control of Twilight's body and instead takes control of the body that Discord had been using. The Shadow shapes herself into an Alicorn with black-purple and magenta flames for her mane and tail, feathery wings that resembled tongues of fire, a deep purple coat, white armor in the shape of an eclipse, and a cutie mark of a white six pointed star, in front of a magenta star, with five smaller magenta color stars surrounding the larger one. She calls herself the "Walker of the Endless Wheel" yet Twilight knows what she truly is. She was Twilight Sparkle, now she is a Nightmare.
