The latest Ultra Beast is dropped right by the Pokémon School: Stakataka. This mission goes awry when it ends up interrupting construction plans from one of the Masked Royal's opponents.
This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
- Brown Note: Kiawe and Viren are both unsettled by Stakataka's numerous internal eyes.
- Get A Hold Of Yourself Man: Mallow has Tsareena deliver one to Kiawe, by trampling him with stomp, when he falls into Stakataka.
- Plot Hole: It's established that Stakataka does not like having anything on its top, except it seems, when the construction worker is up there guiding the statue of Viren into position.
- Too Dumb to Live: At one point, Viren is so distracted yelling at Stakataka, he doesn't even notice he's about to get crushed by it.
