Several hours after the twins had tried to "medicate" the toilet, it is now bedtime and the twins are worried about the toilet situation. Pumpkin's worried because if the upstairs toilet has to go, there's the question of whether the parents will be willing to empty her and Pound's potties into their own toilet, and there's also the possibility that Pound may try to go back to using his diapers until the new toilet arrives and Pound, while he's hopeful that the toilet will be fixed, is also worried because he's afraid the medicine made the toilet worse or that he was the one who broke it.
In the middle of the night, Pound wakes up needing his potty, and this is notably the first time nature has called him at night. Additionally, he has never gone to the potty on his own before, but he decides he wants to use his potty instead of his diaper for reasons even he can't comprehend.
He goes to the bathroom and uses a potty, making him very proud that he used the potty on his own, but Pinkie Pie comes in and reveals that he accidentally used Pumpkin's potty. She tells him that Maude did the same thing with Limestone as a foal and promises not to tell Pumpkin on his request (since he's afraid of what she'd do in return). Pinkie Pie then declares Pound ready for pull-ups.
