After a battle against the Darkloids, Lan's synchro chip is damaged and travels to Sharo for his dad to fix it. The Darkloids then set their sights on Sharo and use its excavating machine to plow through its capital.
- Double Knock Out: The first battle against the Darkloids results in Lan logging out Cosmo Man with an Air Spin chip, but gets hit by Cosmo Man's Cosmo Buster damaging his synchro chip.
- Heel–Face Turn: Inukai's pet lion Monosuke is now living at the animal farm sitting peacefully in his cage. He's grown somewhat protective of Jasmine, snarling when some Net Police agents approach Jasmine, worried they mean her harm.
- Rope Bridge: When Lan arrives in Sharo, a truck bridge has one of its cables broken. Charlie is able to save the driver thanks to cross fusing with Gyro Man.
- Took a Level in Badass: Charlie is able to cross fuse in this episode. Fyre Fox, Dingo, Jasmine, and Pride are also capable of it but don't do so until the next episode.
