During World War II, the airmen of the 100th Bomb Group travel from across the ocean to East Anglia, England in order embark on a campaign to bring the war to Hitler's doorstep. Equipped with a fleet of formidable B-17 Flying Fortresses, they carry out precision daylight bombing missions against targets in Germany and across Occupied Europe. The men of what will become known as "The Bloody Hundredth" quickly learn that victory will not come quickly nor without great cost, as they must brave waves of German fighters and clouds of Anti-Air fire on their way to the target and on the way back home.
