Serial Killer Gregory Yates (Dallas Roberts) once again gets involved with SVU, claiming that some of the victims recovered from his favorite body dump beach have ties to Chicago. When Benson contacts CPD Sgt. Voight (Jason Beghe), he sends down Detectives Lindsay and Dawson (Sophia Bush & Jon Seda) to New York to interview Yates on this new development. However, by the time the two Chicago detectives reach New York, they learn that Yates has already escaped Green Haven with fellow convicted Serial Killer Dr. Carl Rudnick (Jefferson Mays), triggering a massive manhunt.
