Spring is coming. Barry wakes up from hibernation and prepares to plow his garden. Dokko passes by his house and Barry asks him to call everyone for help. Dokko declares that it is no longer necessary to plow and that now they live on the sun's ray and Indian tea. He joins Krash, Chiko, Rosa and Wally as they sit and meditate in the clearing. Carlin, in a turban, gives them Indian tea and says they don't need anything else. Rosa says she wants a piece of cake, but Carlin urges those who are not ready to be free from temptations to leave and spend their lives on food.
Barry approaches his friends sitting on the mats and asks them to go with him; if they miss the sowing they will have nothing to eat in winter. Carlin tells his friend that he too used to be a prisoner of illusions, but one cold February evening he watched an Indian movie and saw the light. Indians only grow tea and no one is complaining. Instead, they dance, sing, and rejoice, all because they live on the sun and drink tea. Rosa declares that she is very hungry and faints. Carlin gives her tea, and Rosa decides to perform her last dance before "leaving the world of illusions forever". All Kikoriki dance and sing together.
When the song ends, they discover that the whole valley is covered with snow. It's winter now, and they ran out of tea. Barry realises nothing was done about the harvest and falls into hibernation. While KikoRiki carry him home, Dokko notes that the system Carlin suggested only works in India because it is always sunny there. Rosa notices that Barry is smiling in his sleep, and Carlin assumes that he is dreaming of India. Barry dances in his dream, and Krash invites his friends to eat him.
Tropes:
- As Long as It Sounds Foreign: The whole song is written in pseudo-Indian. Averted in the FUN Union dub, where it actually has coherent lyrics.
- Author Appeal: According to Alexey Lebedev, this episode was made to please one of the Kikoriki directors, Dzhangir Suleymanov (who is a big fan of Indian culture and Bollywood).
- Filmi Music: Being a parody of Bollywood cinema, the episode has the characters hold a tea party in which they sing and dance Filmi music pieces.
