Barry runs from all sides to the meeting in Pin's hangar. After waiting for him, Carlin starts the meeting. He announces that they will now have their own amusement park. There will be a swing carousel, a House of Laughter, and a House of Horrors. It will be like a House of Laughter, but with a different kind of fun. Krash and Chiko volunteer to make a House of Horrors, but they do not understand what he means by "other fun." Carlin explains that this is when before funny is a little scary.
KikoRiki get to work. Carlin inspects the construction site and reaches the House of Horrors. Krash and Chiko explain their act to him. The visitor enters the room and sees a picture of Chiko. While he's looking at her, Krash and Chiko in a suit come up from behind and scare him. Carlin decides to check the act on a volunteer and pushes Barry into the room. The act goes perfectly, and Barry gets so scared that he runs away screaming. Carlin, seeing this, laughs loudly and approves the act.
In the evening, Barry approaches Carlin and informs him that it seems to him that they have awakened the ghosts of this place with their construction. He even saw one. Carlin explains to his friend that it was just Krash and Chiko. After listening to him, Barry points to two huge monsters slowly walking towards them. Carlin assumes that this is Krash and Chiko's new act and calls them, but to his horror, discovers that they are standing behind him. Confident that it really is the ghosts, Carlin, Barry, Krash, and Chiko run away in horror, destroying all the attractions along the way. They jump into the trolley and begin to quickly roll around in a circle until one of the monsters turns off the carousel. With a sharp push, they fall out of the trolley and find themselves right in front of the monsters. Suddenly, it turns out that Dokko and Pin are sitting inside the monsters who control them. They explain that they finished their work earlier and decided to turn monsters into a House of Horrors. Kikoriki will go in different directions. Dokko asks Carlin if he approves of their idea. Carlin stammers and refuses. Because when it's scary, it's not funny at all.
Tropes
- Chekhov's Gun: Pin and Dokko hear Carlin praising Krash and Chiko's act. Later it turns out that they are responsible for creating monsters.
- Dude, Not Funny!: It turns out that when you're scared, it's not funny at all.
- Flat Scare: Barry gets very excited when Krash and Chiko in a suit suddenly shout "boo" to him.
- Fright Beside Them: Carlin thinks that the monsters are Krash and Chiko, and he is horrified when they turn out to be behind him.
- Shout-Out: Barry follows Carlin with a mirror in his hands and asks where to put it. This is a reference to a similar moment
from the film "Welcome, or No Trespassing".
