In order to catch a supernatural thief, Jackie and Jade enlists the help of Viper to track him down.
- Aborted Arc: At the end of the episode, it seems Origami has developed a hatred towards Chan and possibly return to enact vengeance. He never shows up again.
- Arbitrary Skepticism: Jade laughs off Jackie's story about "the paper fold-up man", even though she knows full well that magic exists.
- Cassandra Truth: No one believes Jackie about the "paper fold-up man". He's able to finally convince the cops by pointing out Origami as he's flying away.
- The Name Is Bond, James Bond: The episode where the infamous term "Chan, Jackie Chan" came from.
- Recruiting the Criminal: Well, ex-criminal. Jade reasons that in order to catch a thief, they must recruit someone who thinks like a thief.
- Ship Tease: By the end, Jackie and Viper have grown closer to each other. Maybe even the possibility of them getting together.
- Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: Jackie is not at all thrilled about having to work with Viper, and Viper is quite frustrated with Jackie's unwillingness to trust her (which is understandable since Viper had already betrayed Jackie once before). He does come around by the end of the episode.
