Summary

Excited and nervous for their first date at Yoyogi Park, Makoto and Kyoko go to have their first breakfast as a couple before heading out. But do our lovely couple have any insecurities about their new relationship that they've yet to voice?

Tropes

• The Confidant: Sakura finds out about Makoto and Kyoko's relationship from the latter and agrees not to tell anyone.
• Insecure Love Interest: Before the two of them go on their first date, both Makoto and Kyoko have their insecurities:
  • Makoto tried to dress himself up in something besides his usual clothes out of fear of looking lazy and is clearly saddened when Kyoko asks him to not tell anyone besides his parents about their relationship, even asking her if she's embarrassed of him. Thankfully, she tells him that she isn't embarrassed of him and just wants some privacy.
  • Kyoko admits to Sakura that, due to her never having been in a relationship and Makoto being her first crush, she isn't sure if whether or not she's in love with him. Sakura tells her that she'll find the answer as she dates Makoto.
• Secret Relationship: Mainly due to Kyoko being a private person, she asks Makoto to keep any public displays of attention and their relationship to themselves. She does let him tell his parents about their relationship.
